Just your not-so-average Twenteen-Year-Old
Madly addicted to drama and romance
Totally and undeniably crazy... Just a little ;)
Wow.. these 4 weeks weeks have really just flown by haven't they. With the GP paper tomorrow, i have NO idea what i'm goin blogging at like 11:21pm. So far i have nothing zilch zero in my brain, my mind is blank and i just spent the last 5 mins feeling sorry for myself.
Now the exams are upon us, and i know some of you have really worked really hard and deserve to score ;) but for the hopeless slackers like me, do not give up!
Sometimes we feel like there is so much to do that there is no point trying.
What's the point right? It's completely Hopeless..
Then we remember, that all is not lost.
As long as we have faith in ourselves and faith in God, there is always hope.
Just think.. In one month's time, we'd be lounging around. With no other worry except how to fund our many plans ;)
I know this one is practically a cliche but who cares, i find comfort in it, so i hope you will too.
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it: "LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied: "My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
Good Luck!

Trivia Bits: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968)
Dick Van Dyke's character was named for Caractacus, the last independent ruler of England before the Roman conquest of southern England.
Phil Collins claims he was one of the children storming the castle at the end of the film but was edited out because of a rather large and unsightly bandage on his head that was covering a cyst.
In addition to several partial mock-ups of the car used for the purposes of filming, one real, custom-built Chitty Chitty Bang Bang automobile was constructed for the film. It survives today, privately owned, and often appears at special events. The car is street-legal and is registered as a motor vehicle in the U.K. with the same license plate seen in the film (GEN 11).
Dick Van Dyke had appeared in several Disney movies prior to this. In a press release he quipped, "This will out-Disney Disney." He was banned from Disney productions for several years after this.
The license number for Truly's car, CUB 1, is a reference to Albert R. Broccoli's nickname, Cubby.
Baron Bomburst's castle is Neuschwanstein, built between 1869 and 1886 for the Bavarian King Ludwig II, "The Mad King of Bavaria". This castle is also famously known as the model for Disney's Sleeping Beauty (1959) and Cinderella (1950) castles, for the movies and also as an emblem of Disneyland and the The Magical World of Disney (1988) (TV).
The colors of the floating Chitty - purple, green and white - are the colors of the women's suffrage movement of that time.
Has the distinction of being the only non-James Bond film produced by Albert R. Broccoli after the Bond series began. This is because the novel on which the movie is based was written by Ian Fleming, creator of James Bond.
"Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" was written by the creator of "James Bond", Ian Fleming. In
Voted number 14 in Channel 4's (UK) "Greatest Family Films"
There is a special reason the letters/numbers on the front plate read "GEN11"...if one replaces the "11" with "II" it becomes "GENII", which aptly describes the cars nature.
You have GOT to watch it. Ok.. now back to 'A's.... *grumble mumble*

When under stress the mind tends to wander off in all directions. Anything to escape the present. I am no exception.
Those were the days man.. ;]
I was Sweet, Innocent... not that i'm no longer sweet and innocent but life has changed. (ok, you can stop puking now)
Anyway, to further procrastinate, I go searching for videos recommended by my dear sister Sarah Lim who's supposed to be mugging too.
Here's 2 versions of Your Guardian Angel by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.
A Walk to Remember
The Chronicles of Narnia
Personally I like the Narnia one better.. But then again both are really not all that bad so just watch both.
Here's some random facts i also dug up about A Walk to Remember
Shane West loved the car that he had in the movie so much, that he bought the car for only $5,000.
This movie was filmed in only 39 days, despite the fact that they only had Mandy Moore for 10 hours a day because she was a minor.
‘Jessica Simpson' was considered for the role of Jamie Sullivan.
OK.. Yucks! Can you imagine Jessica 'Genius who acts like a blonde bimbo because it pays' Simpson playing a good christian girl. *Shudder*
If only stuff like that were tested for 'A's.. I'd be languishing in confidence.
Some other random fact. You know how Singapore's the first city to implement the Electronic Road Pricing system right (September 1998). Well to stress-test the system they had Lamborghinis, Porsches and Ferraris speed through. So super cool! Just imagine what it must have looked like.
And then my favourite pasttime.. Which i haven't done for sometime now- searching for Voyager videos. I think i shall post the episode 'shattered' just to enlighten all you non-trekkies out there.
